Volkswagen Factory Warranty – What’s Covered

This Volkswagen warranty is applicable to new vehicles and covers the repair or replacement of key components of your vehicle. Below is the warranty length and what could be covered:

This warranty also includes three years of 24/7 roadside assistance^^. Furthermore, new Volkswagen models come with Scheduled Carefree Maintenance^^^ that lasts two years or 20,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

Volkswagen Extended Warranty – What’s Covered

Volkswagen automobiles tend to last a long time. So, maybe you plan to keep your car for longer than four years, or maybe you plan to buy a used Volkswagen automobile for your Washington D.C. adventures. Either way, you can be covered with the Volkswagen extended warranty. This Volkswagen warranty has options for you to choose from. In fact, you can add up to 10 years or 150,000 miles of extended protection with the Volkswagen Drive Easy protection plan. Volkswagen Certified Pre-Owned Warranty

Many of our Springfield customers opt for a certified pre-owned Volkswagen automobile. That can be a smart choice. CPO vehicles are also covered by a Volkswagen warranty, which is specific to the model year of the vehicle. The CPO warranty period begins when the factory warranty expires or on the sale date of the CPO VW vehicle, whichever occurs later. Repairs that are covered by each limited warranty are as follows:

• Model Year 2019 vehicles – 1 year or 12,000-mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty*
• Model Year 2020 and newer vehicles – 2-year or 24,000-mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty**
• Electric Vehicles Model Year 2019 and newer – 3-year or 36,000-mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty***
